Can't open your Publisher files any more?

Maybe your new computer doesn't have Publisher, your Microsoft 365 subscription changed, you moved to a Mac, or Microsoft removed Publisher from Microsoft 365 (it's retired on October 1, 2026). Either way, your .pub files are still fine. You just need something that can read them.

Fastest: convert them online

Buy Publisher again?

Office Professional 2021 (a one-time purchase) includes Publisher and keeps working, though without security updates after October 2026. It's worth it only if you'll keep making new Publisher documents. For old files, converting once is cheaper.
